DIY Individual Painted Herb Pots
These painted pots are perfect for a sunny kitchen windowsill. You can grow a variety of herbs from basil, thyme, cilantro, oregano, mint and many others.Follow instructions below to make your own.
What you will need:
What you will need:
- Terracota pot
- Paint (any type, even spray paint)
- Glitter glue
- Painters tape (I didn't have any, so I used drafting tape)
- Potting soil
- Herbs
Use painter's tape around the rim of the pot to make a straight line.
Paint the pot. Be careful no to use too much paint during the first coat, this is so paint will not bleed under the taped line. You may have to use 2 coats of paint.
Peel off the tape.
Bedazzle with glitter glue.
Plant your herbs.
CUTE!

DIY Spoon Mirror
If you are planning a summer BBQ or party where guest will be using plastic spoons, this is the perfect project for you! After the BBQ, put the used plastic spoons in your dish washer with your usual dishes.
What you will need:
- Plastic spoons
- A mirror (I bought mine at the craft store for $1)
- Hot glue gun/glue
- Foam core or some other stiff material
- Scissors
Cut a circle out of foam core or cardboard. This will determine how large your mirror will turn out. You can also start cutting off the spoon handles.
Use hot glue to adhere the spoons around the foam core in rows.
Paint the adhered spoons. I used Chalk Paint, but spray paint will work too.
Now it's time to add the mirror!
I used 3 squares of foam core to prop up the mirror. I then adhered it with hot glue.
Enjoy!

DIY Cinco De Mayo Tissue Paper Decor
I wanted to post a colorful and fun DIY for Cinco De Mayo. This is made from leftover tissue paper and is perfect to do with kids.
What you need:
- Tissue paper
- Scissors
- Tape
- Ribbon
Fold one sheet of tissue paper in half and cut so that you now have 2 rectangles
Fold the 2 pieces of tissue paper in half horizontally together to make one long rectangle.
Now fold in half vertically
Fold again vertically
Tape end around ribbon and cut the ends.
Do this with different color tissue paper.
Make sure you scrunch up the tissue paper to make it look more full.
Enjoy! Happy Cinco De Mayo!
